That's a redfish. He's mighty good blackened or fried. You can keep some of these if you like, but "Bucketmouth" has to be released!

Want to try something different? Captain Jimmie also guides on the Cooper River for Redfish or as they're known around here "Spottail Bass". On the Cooper River you'll have an opportunity to catch these great sport fish on traditional Largemouth lures like worms and shad baits. You'll fish structure in beautiful "brackish" waters along the various branches of the famous Cooper River near Charleston. The best months for Redfish are December, January and February when the Largemouth fishing slows down. We typically have great weather during these months and it's a wonderful time to pursue these fish. If you've never tried Redfish "Bass Masters" style, give it a try.
